OK, before I get started, here’s a reminder to all of my friends out there to SAVE DRAFT frequently…ARGGGHHH!!! I wrote this long, pithy post and POOF it was gone. Maannnnn….
I’m trying to decide whether I listen to the devilish me sitting on one shoulder or the industrious me sitting on the other shoulder. There’s siding to be stained around the windows that we repaired and Kilzed last fall…yes, summer is almost gone and I still haven’t stained…I just don’t want to get ready to do it…the actual doing should be easy. Then there is the me that has all kinds of indoorsy things that need doing…put together a cast list, update the website, update the email list, set the rehearsal schedule…
OK, it is now a few hours later and I’ll tell you that the indoor voice won…mostly. I did weed a lot outside this morning, but the afternoon was spent inside assembling a bookcase and eating grilled garlic butter ciabatta with diced heirloom tomatoes and salt and pepper and rotisseried turkey breast (slathered with mustard and then chopped fresh herbs patted into the mustard) and cheese. I stuffed myself with ciabatta and tomatoes (I could eat that forever) and haven’t any more room for anything. Now I need to switch gears again and load up the new bookcase so that we can build another one and move all the books from the floor into the bookcase.
Oh, and one of my favorite people in the world is my niece, Erin Beth Hauch, a violinist and Montessori teacher and all around sweet person…Erinhas started a blog and I hope you will check it out. She’s just getting her blogging-legs under her, so be patient.
