The short story: Wife, Mom, Grammy, singer, actor, gardener, now retired legal assistant, used to be fluent in Spanish, Flemish and French (with a smattering of German thrown in), lover of cats, recent convert to dog love via Boo the mini aussiedoodle, totally in love with extended family which just keeps growing.
The longer story: My name is Lynna and I welcome you to my online diary. I am a tiny-town girl turned loose on the wide, wide world. The oldest of four girls, my footprints marched from Hemet, CA to Onkerzele, Belgium to Riverside, CA to Boston, MA to Bangor, ME to Portland, ME to Providence, RI to St. Petersburg, FL back to Boston and finally, to Midcoast Maine, where my feet are firmly planted. I am married to the man of my dreams since 1975. I am Mom to Katy (Executive Producer of Growing Bolder TV and Radio, married to Lucas, Mama to Audrey Saison and Remy Harper) and to Andy (web designer and developer married to Liza and dad to our grandbabyboy) and, most recently, adoring Grammy to my grandbabies. Our current menagerie includes Sophie the Siamesey Snowshoe muttcat, Phoebe the dilute calico behemoth cat and Boo, the always happy, constantly chewing, curly-haired ball of energy mini aussiedoodle. I parlayed my B.A. in theater into gigs as a radio newswoman, an administrative assistant, a legal assistant and more. By day, I worked for money; by night, I worked for love in community theater, as an actor, director, stagehand and President of the Board of Directors. I am still growing, still learning, taking some time to explore and taste what life has to offer me and mine.
