We have been working outside a lot lately, getting ready for winter. This will be our first full winter in this little house and there is so much to do.
All the planters and artsy fartsy decorations of which I am so fond have been put away, most joining the deck furniture on a pallet created by the oh-so-handy hus.
All the herbs and geraniums are inside for the season.
All the hanging bird feeders and wind chimes have joined the gardening tools in the shed.
Fire wood has been delivered and piled.
The fluorescent yellow stakes are distributed along the driveway so the snow plow guy can find his way.
Still need to weed whack along the driveway so said snow plow guy has a place to push snow.
Still need to have the chimney cleaned.
And there are the summer clothes to be packed away and the winter clothing brought out.
Whew! Winter isn’t for wusses!
